Gamers traditionally play games sitting down. Because people have to actually interact with the game, VR games have the uncanny ability to change our long-held behavior patterns. Pokemon GO showed another appeal of VR gaming. Pokemon GO was a prime example of the potential of VR to drive real world traffic and turn enormous profits for a multitude of related businesses. People interact with the real world in order to play a digital game. Pokemon GO was not entirely VR, but it was a partial form of VR known as augmented reality. The latest installment of the classic game was an instant hit on smartphones. VR has been all the rage in recent times largely thanks to Pokemon GO. A VR flight stimulator, for example, can present challenges that closely resemble real life to pilots in training for better education. Virtual reality was largely considered a step forwards towards more realistic games and stimulations. Some VR developers are seeing this trend as a big opportunity to promote green causes and actually do something to contribute towards eco-friendliness. Most of these fans are slowly transitioning into VR gaming. Currently, in the United States, there are over 100 million casual and dedicated gamers. Particularly, VR games are hoping to make people healthier and the environment cleaner. Virtual reality is officially going green. Since Virtual Reality would be trending in the gaming world in near future, it’d be best if we could come up with more and more eco-friendly virtual reality games. However, we can do the same with games too. We already have many movies with eco-friendly themes. Therefore, it is necessary that we use all the mediums possible to raise environmental awareness. Since most of our lives revolve around mundane things like politics and sports, we rarely come across something that shifts our interest to the environment. However, not only we don’t do much to balance this damage, in fact, most of don’t even know about its existence.
This downside is not for us, but for the environment. We are slowly realizing that even our day to day life with all its amenities has its downside as well.
